Aiguilles rouges and Oberland 4000s (or not) (Alpine climbing)

Did a great little day tour on the weekend between the Ecrins tour and the Oberland 4000s. Lots of ascent, getting competitive and suffering on the climbs with Toby, then doing the Mont Buet descent with a very wobbly binding, which finally threw me off 500m from the road. Near miss with a long snow plod there!

The Oberland 4000s didn’t actually involve any 4000s, since the weather was pretty bad, but did involve lots of skiing around in whiteouts. All good fun.
