Hot Toddy (Scottish winter climbing)

Been a bit slow getting this news online, but it’s been a bit of a hectic week since climbing last weekend! On Sunday the 17th December Guy Robertson and I made the long trek to Beinn a Bhuird to repeat Hot Toddy. This was Guy’s first ever (intentional) new route, about ten years ago, so it was good to make a repeat (second ascent?). We also added a more direct finish, and reckoned the grade to be about VII, 8 (Guy originally graded it VI, 7).

Being as how it was approaching christmas, it seemed appropriate that we should be climbing a route called Hot Toddy.
