Snow snow snow (Alpine climbing)

Loads of snow here in Chamonix. Jon and I decided not to do the race on Sunday as the col over to Switzerland was closed, so it would have required a monster drive. Instead we had a day nailing powder runs in Courmayeur, followed by skin reps yesterday evening, and a nice tour in the Aiguilles rouges today. There’s 1.5 to 2m of snow on the roofs around here, so it looks like climbing is probably out, but I’m hopefully going to do a couple of ski races this weekend (one uphill only, one up and down team race) which should be good practice for the TSF with Ben the following weekend.
