Been a frantic but very enjoyable few weeks. Spent two weeks sport climbing, bouldering, beach lounging, ice cream eating, paragliding, citadel visiting and view admiring in Corsica with my girlfriend Hil. Then straight up to Skye for a six week stint of Cuillin guiding with Mike Lates at Skye Guides. On our first ridge traverse we had perfect weather, maybe even a bit too hot, but I can’t complain when it’s that way round. Wierdly met someone reccying the ridge for a record attempt half way around the ridge, and then near the end met Martin Moran, previous record holder for the ridge (amongst many other very impressive mountain based feats). I wonder how much longer my record will stand for? Interesting times…
Weather looks good for next few days, and I’ve got Friday Saturday off. Game on…
