Defi de l'Oisans race (Running)

At the end of July/beginning of August I competed in one of the most spectacular running races I’ve ever done, the Defi de l’Oisans. This was essentially a running stage race, over six days, around the GR 54 Tour des Oisans walking route. 200km, with 12000m of ascent, with stages varying from a 5km sprint to a 54km enduro fest. The race turned into a bit of a battle between me and 8 time winner Benoit Laval. We both smashed his overall course record and I won three out of six stages, breaking the record in each, but in the end he had the edge, beating me by eleven minutes after seventeen hours of racing!
