Es won todays stage and feels he is back in the contest! Todays stage was the longest and “a monster”: Two climbs of over 1000m each and two little ones plus “two massive descents and an 8 km road run to finish,in the baking sun”! Es beat Don by 70 secs and Benoit by 8.5 mins. The overall classification,at present is: First Benoit; Second Don; Third Es; all within 8 mins of one another.
