July 30th 2007 Today’s stage was the flattest and fastest of all but has a hard descent. Es had a “bit of a shocker today – running OK but descended really badly.” He lost about 9 minutes to Benoit and 7 mins to Don. Tomorrow is an untimed day so perhaps time to recover enough to challenge on the last three rougher longer stages.
