Es on Skis (Alpine climbing)

This year I’ve decided to learn to ski, and I’m currently on my second trip to the alps with this in mind. Also got my climbing kit out with me but the weather has been very unsettled, so just been skiing. Mostly lift accessed to get lots of descents, but also done some touring with Owen Samuels, a friend who is out here doing his guides scheme. We did a great three day tour around the Zinal area, mostly in a whiteout, and skied up the Bishorn.

Meant to be dumping with snow tonight and tomorrow so it’s looking like more skiing and no climbing. Been out here two weeks now so I’ll hopefully get at least a day route done before I leave on Tuesday…
